Question 1 of 40

How do you motivate others?

"There are many ways to motivate employees. In my experience, you have to invest the time to determine what motivates each team member. Some may be motivated by public recognition, some by tangible rewards like money or gifts, and others may be motivated by the opportunity to grow within a company into a leadership position. I also motivate my team by being positive and encouraging and being available one-on-one to coach, mentor, or brainstorm with them.

As a leader, I look for ways to engage team members individually and collectively to motivate them. For example, I often include employees in decision-making processes where possible. Giving them a voice to be a part of this process empowers them to take ownership and motivates them to achieve the goals set."
