I had an agent who was always asks questions multiple times. He tends talk to people around him even if they are not friends or teammates. His topic is always off the table. People tend to see him weird. I did an observation on how he acts and talked to him about it. Hes always alone at home and is not getting any recognition from his parents. So he tries to mingle with others and try to say some things he is good at even if no one asks. He sounds boastful most of the time. I then knew that this guy just needs recognition with what he does. What I did was that I always recognize him in front of the team to boost his confidence. I gave him tasks that he can work on with the team without looking and sounding weird. Hes now a communication coach intern.

Supervising and teaching junior members of the team a lot of the knowledge they needed to work front of house. Whilst it was important to work quickly, it was important not to look rushed and not to rush customers, I had a few junior team members that I had to speak to about their tone and manner with customers as they weren't very friendly, usually as they were trying to concentrate on taking the order down correctly, and perhaps used the wrong phrases such as 'do you want' instead of 'would you like'. Some junior members of the team ignored or took quite some time to adhere to the advice and instruction I was giving them, so I had to use a stricter tone and explain to them that as front of house staff we are representing the business and how we behave directly impacts each customer's experience, which of course we want to be positive.
