  1. 1.

What is Amazon's company mission, and what does it mean to you?

      How to Answer

Amazon obsesses over its customers, and since its start in 1994, its mission has been 'to be Earth's most customer-centric company.' Now, that is a lofty mission statement! And, they did it.

Amazon has won a multitude of customer service awards, including:

      - #1 in customer satisfaction for nine consecutive years (ForeSee Experience Index: US Retail Edition)
      - #1 on the American Customer Satisfaction Index for 2010 through 2017
      - #1 on the Harris poll 2016, 2017, 2018
      - #1 UK Customer Satisfaction Index 2018
      - LinkedIn's Top Companies: #1 in the 2018 Top Company US Edition

Now that you fully understand the impeccable customer service reputation Amazon seeks to uphold, describe how you will be a positive addition. Discuss what this mission means to you and show that you will be an active participant, should you be the chosen candidate.

      Rachelle's Answer

"Amazon's mission is to be Earth's most customer-centric company. To me, this means always being a few steps ahead of your customers, delivering more than they expect, and doing so out of pure joy and will rather than a 'have-to' mentality. This customer-centric mentality also means creating an online experience that they respond to, and one that makes their lives easier every time they visit."

      Rachelle's Answer

"To be Earth's most customer-centric company is the mission of Amazon. Being customer-centric means that every decision I make here needs to be based on the customer first. I need to think a few steps ahead of their anticipated needs and deliver answers before they even know what the question is!"
