What You Need to Know
Jeff Bezos wrote, "Diversity at Amazon has always been, and always will be, committed to equal rights, tolerance, and diversity. And we firmly reject and have zero tolerance for, harassment of any kind. We're a company of builders whose diverse backgrounds, ideas, and points of view are critical to helping us invent on behalf of all our customers. But it's not only that diversity and inclusion are good for our business. It's more fundamental than that, it's simply right. These are enduring values for us, and nothing will change that."

For example, for one customer project, the customer's corporate headquarters was in Switzerland, the account team was Swiss; the customer's technical staff was Spanish; I'm American/British; the project manager was Indian, and my line manager was Italian. Despite all these cultural differences, we came together to deliver a successful project. I truly loved working with the Spanish who were very warm and friendly whilst also maintaining the high standards set by HQ in Switzerland. It was a joy working on a project that involves people from different cultures coming together."
