Where do you see yourself one year from now?

"I currently have two years left of school, so in one year, I plan to be on the same education track and working full-time. I want to maintain stability in my life, so if offered the job, I would plan to keep my position for as long as possible, hopefully even growing into a supervisor role in the next year or two!"

      Why the Interviewer Asks This Question

      The interviewer wants to understand your ambitions and where you hope to be in a year. They are trying to determine if you will be at Aldi for a short period of time, or if you're committed to something long term. If you are a student, tell the interviewer that you plan to stay at Aldi through graduation, and then share what career or further education you hope to be pursuing after graduation. If Aldi offers jobs in your field, such as management, be sure to mention that you would be open to considering a career in your area at Aldi if one is available upon graduating.

      If you are not a student, discuss your desire to maintain stable employment and grow with the company. You may even mention that you hope to have received a promotion by the one-year mark.
