Recent change in our org structure with new reporting manager. I listed the project status report of all 3 projects I was working on and gave them a status update and seeking their approval on some of the decision that were pending to proceed with the projects with thought delay.

I would prioritize based on the importance of my action needed. began working on Forestry mulcher acquired all necessary data, suppliers were identified and management postponed the execution to 2017. I have compiled all necssary data and documented to proceed next year while I currently work new woodhog project.

I set a goal of cutting cost&Quality of engineering CAD activity by outsourcing business model. Cost effective but quality was not 100%, realized the reason and quickly reacted to switch the vendor. Implemented QC check list to bring down the errors on Drawing released.

They appreciate my knowledge sharing efforts, sales lead appreciated my out of the way contribution in closing a sales deal. They look up to me since i'm the only MBA grad in the team but I believe in continuous learning process. They learn few stuff from me and I learn many things from them.

I was reporting directly to the engineering vp untill recent change in org structure. Now I report to Business unit manager who has replaced him. I notice that my boss mostly lack in listneing to suggestion, that is mainly because they dont recognise the importance of the subject so I have learnt to quantify and catch their attention to make them listen to me. For example the cost of hardware upgrade requirement I have enclosed in my portfolio.

I have worked in several different industries such as aero, auto, biotech, currently with heavy engineering. Aerospace industries gave me exposure to Goodrich lighting systems now UTC global. Acuity being publicly traded large industry where I would get global exposure and an opportunity work in latest technology in ligting inudstry where I get to learn and enhance knowledge while I contribute my past expertise.
