Working at a local nursing home as a registered nurse I often found myself in a less than desirable working environment. This environment had a direct effect on the care that could be provided to my patients. I could not in good conscience continue to work for a company that would not provide me with the basic necessities to provide quality care to my patients. After a difficult conversation with my supervisor, I decided that this job was no longer a good fit for me.

Integrity is a characteristic all employers value and hope to see in the employees they hire. This response shows that you have high moral values, especially when it comes to quality patient care. I can see why working for a company that did not share those values would become untenable. However, you can enhance this answer by also talking about the actions you took to try to improve the environment before ultimately deciding you had no choice but to leave. This shows the interviewer that you do your best to drive positive change and make improvements in the face of challenges.
