What is the most competitive work situation you have experienced? How did you handle it? What was the result?

There was a new trainer that came into the business. His assessment scores with his guys was quite high and caused some competition. I handled it by sitting with him and learning some of his methods and see how he does it. My learners started getting higher marks as well.

I could not complete my report on time. Due to issues with my system. I then worked off my colleagues laptop and kept my manager informed about what is happening. I handed it in late but my manager knew why.

I was developing training materials that is to be rolled out to the floor. It was with regards to systems and processes. Everything had to be spot on because if the agent does it and it messes up something with our customers, then I will get into trouble. Double checked and triple checked my work before giving it out, got some of my colleagues to dummy test it before it going live.

I need to pay attention to details most of the time. At school we normally have 30 minutes meetings everyday where a host of announcements are handed out to staff members to be delivered to learners in their respective classes. All I do is take note of the salient points and pay attention to each and every detail.

I was selected to go to Australia out of my whole team because I had the best ability to relay information. I went to learn advanced processes and bring it back to our call centre. I was elected to go to New Zealand to help train up their contact centre as they were short staffed.

I currently work for an Australian client and we deal with customers ranging from Indian, UK, Asian. I have travelled to Australia for 2 weeks and lived in New Zealand for 3 months so I can adapt easily.
