Template For Asking Your Network For Job Leads

The purpose of this template is to help you customize a message for the people in your network that can help you reach your career goals. Send this note via email or through LinkedIn. Personalize your message as much as possible, ensuring that your approach is genuine. Be patient with responses, show a humble attitude, and ask only those you know will have your best interest in mind.

Body of Message:

Hi (name of contact),

I sincerely hope this message finds you well!

I noticed that (insert a personalized comment about them and ask a related question).

I am reaching out to let you know that I am currently looking for a new career opportunity.
