I can work under pressure, work within deadlines, sell holidays to increase the turnover and compute with others.
I am passionate about travel, I love helping people with their travel plans and presenting options that that may not have thought of.
I love working in a customer service job and have previous experience working aboard one of the worlds most prestigeous cruise liner company, I enjoy pleasing people and I am enthusiastic about travelling.

I am a very international person. I love to learn and experience all region of the world, And introduce to people.

Being able to meet lots of new people and I love traveling all over the world ive always wanted to be a travel agent its everything I enjoy and is passionate about in one job.

Struggle to give up smoking,
Wanting to please everybody. workaholic wanting to be perfect all the time.
One of my greatest weaknesses is being stubborn my second is that children and families in poverty my passion for shopping I spend alot of money.

Get hyper and hungry early.
6. What do you like least about being a Travel Agent?
Book the best holiday destination for my client and when they come back I would like to hear from them they really enjoyed it and would like to book their next holiday with me again.
When flights cancelled and my clients stuck at the airport.
Trying my absolute best and not being able to satisfy the people who came to me.
I like flying and enjoying my freedom so do with others.
Everything is always urgent.
7. Provide an example when your ethics were tested.
I do not use Facebook and the Internet for personal use in the work environment. I do not take office stationery home for personal use.
My ethics can be seen from any aspect from my attitude while I am working.
When a client wants me to waive penalty fees.

In pervious jobs I would have abuse shouted at me and I just had to ignore it be professional and keep working.
8. Tell me how you organize, plan, and prioritize your work.
I always have my notebook for to-do-list and mark the date and how important of the task to be completed.
I make daily plans for the weekends, trips, putting first the most difficult and time consuming things.
I go off of deadlines. I currently work for an auto auction company and have a sale every day but monday. I have to make sure everything gets done on time or my mistakes can cost the company a lot of money.
I create a list of tasks, check the timeframes for each task and methodically work through the list.
According to clients departure dated and immediate needs.
9. Share an experience you had in dealing with a difficult person and how you handled the situation.
Ok .First you have to listen your costumer and understand why they are not happy and then with a manner solve the problem and try to find anything extra without them mentioning it will make your client happy.
First, listen to problem . Try resolve the issue. Be apologetic if appropriate.
In pervious work customers were always very cranky and picky so whatever was for dinner they either complained so I used to asked them what they wanted and would give it to them and it kind of killed them with kindness because they had nothing else to compalin about.
When I had a co-op opportunity at Salem Public School, there was a substitute teacher that was extremely rude to the children, I kept quiet but occupied the kids to keep them busy and the next day I reported to the teacher.
I started servicing an account that was used to doing their own bookings. There is this one booker called Sue who was very anti coming through our company to do the bookings. She was never satisfied with the level of service as she was used to controlling the pace in which bookings were made. I always completed her bookings in a timely manner and remained positive and friendly throughout. Over time I got to know her and we discovered we both had a connection to Australia. So now when she calls we relate on a personal aswell as a professional level, which I could never have imagined given our shaky beginnings.
10. If you only had one place you could visit for the rest of your life, where would it be?
Self drive in the USA
would try and climb mount everest to be able to look down and see the world from there
Of course. I believe commission is such a great tool in motivating staff to really go out of their comfort zone and reach their potential. It's such an effective way of reaping rewards from hard work.
11. Do you have any previous experience as a Travel Agent?
No. But I have a strong willingness to have an experience as a travel agent.

Yes im okay with that, being a travel agent it is very challenging to work under pressure ang commission based so that the employee will continue to work hard and always fin new ways to adopt to any situation that may come.

13. What are your favorite traveling destinations?
My favorite destination are palwan, cebu, ilocos and baguio.
Europe ,gold coast.
I enjoyed exploring Singapore, although id love to visit Europe, Greek Islands in the near future.
14. What place do you love to recommend to clients?
Well, when I worked as a travel agent in Spain, I recomended the place that depends of their likes and preferences, but I always recommended a lot of times to visit this city, London. I was 7 seven years ago and continues being lovely.
It would depend on what they tell me they like to do, after a few open ended questions I would give them a recommendation based on many factors including, previous travel experience, current travel desires, activity level, food requests, and budget.
I would love to recomend to clients places i have visited as that will make the customer confident and at ease when traveling there.

For professional purpose I would use Linkedin and business card. It is the powerful channel to connect to the professional people who have the same experiences and interested with me.

I have been never into sales.
Work as leisure agent in established travel agencies and more recently work as outside sales agent.
I sell exceptionally well.
Ive had over 20 years experience in the retail industry and i believe i have gained the knowledge and the understanding of how to be the best travel consultant there is to be.
I will try my best for travel.
17. Tell me about the last itinerary tour package which you planned, described, arranged, and/or sold.
Since I have no experiences in Travel Agent, I did make a 2 weeks vacation plan for my family to visit Paris-Geneva-Barcelona with a return ticket from new york to Paris. I planned to travel between the schengen countries by eurailpass and low cost flights between those countries.
It was a package to Rarotonga, including flights, hotel and rental - the clients had an amazing time with their 4 children.
I have no professional experience in this field. I do however help my family and friends research locations before traveling quite often.
I planed a holiday with my family to drive to Turkey. We traveled bu car till Italy and cross with ferry from Italy to Greece and drive to Turkey. And booked a holiday for a week all inclusive hotel with lots of activities. And returned to UK same way.
I have not planned anything recently, but I did book a MSC cruise to St. Maartin, Great Stirrup Cay and Puetro Rico. I have done many itineraries for classes in college.

Travel Agent has a broad knowledge in travel including Hotels, Airline, Cruise, and Car rental. Its the great place to learn how to make many type of reservation.

Yes I care about all the details concerning a specific subject for example all the information for a specific traveling package must be ready for sale.
Yes I m very detailed person. When we were traveling Turkey by car I had to sit down and made every single thing in piece of paper for ready for us to explore.
Yes, my current position requires a great deal of attention to detail. I have to make sure all vehicles have the right information and quality check all of them. I have to be able to determine if the sale dates and times are incorrect.
My work background is in graphic design, everything about this role requires attention to detail. Producing print ready material for retail market.
Due to my 14yers doing QC I can see an error without any effort.

I have a good communication skills and thoughtful when answering questions.

25. How do you handle difficult customers?
Be patient with them and listen to what they have to say. Deal with their issue in a calm and professional manner and aim to solve it in the best possible way I can.
Empathise with customers problem. Assure them you will do the best you can for them.
I will give the most options that I can to them. Give as much information as I can and let them decide. Explain them what is the most fit for them and let them make the decision.
I calmly listen to them first. Then try to assess what they want and what they need and then suggest best course of action to them.
By listening to the customers complain, Apologizing for the inconvenience, staying calm while looking for a solution, and do an action or solve the complain politely.
26. What is the most difficult part of being a Travel Agent?
Its how to make a sale if the specific options given by customer are not available. How to convince them to accept the others option which is very challenging.
Realizing that I can not travel with my clients on their fabulous vacations.
When clients flights got cancelled due weather conditions.
Not being able to go were I send people.
Trying to please everyone as to their holiday requirements. Some people just give limited information, and its trying to read into what they are looking for. You want to get as much information as you can to find them their perfect holiday.
