Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
The interviewer asks what you enjoy in your current job to gain insights into your personality, work style, and preferences. They may also want to know what motivates you and what you value in a job. Your response can help the interviewer understand how your current role aligns with the job you are applying for and how well you will fit into the new company culture. Although you are looking for work, you will likely have a few things you truly enjoy about your current position. Talk to the hiring manager about some of the better aspects of your current job, and briefly explain why you are seeking a change.

"There are a lot of great qualities in my current company. If I had to choose a few positives, our continuing education program is very strong, as is the mentorship role that many of the clinic's leaders take on. However, despite how great my present job is and how I enjoy everyone I work with, I have reached the maximum growth potential in the organization since it is so small. That is the only reason I want to work for a larger hospital, as the career development opportunities are greater."
