Why did you choose this profession?
Previously my interest was more focused on Accounting. However, after working with my current company, my interested has broaden to more banking and finance. My skills and experience from my current employment would positively influence my interest in this profession.
What do you enjoy about being a Loan Officer?
I enjoy pleasing my customers with the products and services my company has to offer since I am customer oriented. I also like helping persons who requires financial assistance with the companies best interest at heart.
What special skills does it take to be a Loan Officer?
Being detailed oriented which would minimize errors. The ability to communicate which would allow me to effectively answer all customers query and outline clearly loan term and professionally declining a loan application. Customer Service oriented; the eagerness to please my customers.

Declining a loan for someone who genuinely requires financial assistance but just have not met the requirements of the company.

I usually work from 9a-5p Mondays-Fridays plus OT once requested and on Saturdays 9a-1p.

I usually receive incentives based on closed loans and I would accept any peeks offer by the company which will be beneficial to me.
What are some of your most memorable experiences as a Loan Officer?
Pleasing my customers and having them visit me to say thanks every time they past by my workplace. Also building such a relationship with customers that they never hestitate to past by and ask questions or even to telephone.
