I would ensure that I maintain my CPD, attend relevant conferences and keep up to date with BVA and RCVS journals. This would assure that I am aware of new drugs, treatments, and innovations in the veterinary field. I would keep an account of any significant incidents that have happened in practice and I would aim to review them, evaluate what I did wrong, and how I could improve. Regular staff meetings would also help keep the team current on new treatments.

I will ensure I am actively improving myself and taking part in CPD in order to prioritize animal welfare to the best of my ability. A really good example of how I am excellent at researching is that I am a board member of my school's medical society. As the only veterinary-focused person on the team, it involves researching a veterinary perspective on current medical issues to contribute to the weekly podcasts we make for the rest of the school. This shows I can research for tight deadlines and in a team setting. I'm also aware that at this school, you have a research project in year three; I'm very excited about this, since it will allow us to develop our research skills which is an important part of CPD in the veterinary profession.
