A Look at a Typical Interview

General interviews, are usually a one on one engagement. Typically done by a hiring manager or a direct manager.

The point of a general interview is for the interviewer to spend about 30 minutes asking you basic interview questions and job related interview questions, to figure out what type of candidate you are. If he or she likes what they see, they usually will ask you on a second interview. Most of the time it is done via a phone call a week later.

Preparing for a general interview is simple. Research the company you are interviewing for. Practice from any of our career questions or general questions.

Remember to look professional by bringing a briefcase and dressing right.

Good Luck
