Best Answer
Whilst I was a Customer Service Advisor within John Lewis new partners joined our team on a regular basis. In particular a new older partner joined our team, once she completed her training she was still very unsure of the systems, knowledge and the type of customer queries she would be dealing with. Unfortunatley this member of staff took a significant period of time off work due to the stress of starting such a new challenging job. Before the partners return I asked to mentor this partner on a one to one basis to ensure she felt comfortable within the role and to fulfil her potential.
I have coached many of my staff to progress further in their careers. From providing them additional training to become Class 1 HGV drivers to mentoring my assistant manager and supervisor to become more confident in other aspects of the LPG business and the health and safety of the site I currently work at.

While working with aldi the most rewarding aspect of the job was dealing with a verity of people on a dailt bases, this greatly improved my interpersonal skills.
I disliked productivity of the store, closing with very small teams of 4 made it very hard to finish at 10pm each night, instead we would finish at 12 or 1 am which made life outside of work suffer.
My time at aldi was very good, I gained vast amounts of skills ranging from communication to problem sloving skills.
