In Case Interviews you may be asked to demonstrate your problem-solving skills. The interviewer will
outline a situation or provide you with a case study and ask you to formulate a plan that deals with
the problem.
To start, you do not have to come up with the perfect solution. The interviewers are looking for how you
apply your knowledge and skills to real-life situations. The interviewers want to see your thought process, so speak and reason aloud so interviewers have a full understanding of how your mind is thinking through the problem.
Be prepared to ask the employer numerous questions, that will demonstrate your willingness to seek further information and learn. Most employers will give responses that could result in additional questions.
The more you are able to analyze and interpret the case study, the more likely you'll impress your
interviewer.
This is the only interview where it is even encouraged, to bring a notepad and pencil. Most
interviewers will allow you to take notes and write down thoughts as you work progress through the case.
